Brooke Hogan - Biography
Brooke Ellen Bollea was born on May 5, 1988
in Tampa, Florida. She is the daughter of Terrence Gene "Terry"
Bollea, better known as professional wrestling legend Hulk
Hogan. Along with her mother Linda Bollea and younger
brother Nick Bollea, they rose to stardom on the hit reality
show Hogan Knows Best debuted in July 2005. The show came
about after an hour-long VH1 special, (Inside) Out: Hulk
Hogan, Stage Dad.
On the show, she signed with Scott Storch's label, Storch
Music Company, and went on to release the single "About
Us" for the album, Undiscovered, which was later
released October 24, 2006. In 2006, she was used briefly in
a storyline in the World Wrestling Entertainment, partly to
promote her album. On June 26, 2006 on RAW, Brooke
Hogan's new music video was played on RAW, and Randy
Orton was shown looking at the video. He later expressed interest
to date Brooke to Hulk Hogan in part of a feud with Hogan.
Brooke's album was released on October 24, 2006 and went on
to sell 127,000 copies In the November 2006 edition of FHM
magazine, Brooke made headlines as the first FHM Cover Model
under the age of 21. Throughout 2007, the Hogan family made
more controversial headlines.In August, Nick Bollea was involved
in a car accident in which he was later sentenced to eight
months in jail on May 9, 2008. On November 20, 2007, Brooke's
mother Linda filed for divorce, and it was evident that the
television show Hogan Knows Best would be no more.
On July 13, 2008 on VH1, a spin-off to Hogan Knows
Best called Brooke Knows Best debuted.
